From coast to coast, the US has been scoured for the Cities and States of the Future. fDi announces the winners of the first heat, which is divided into four regional categories. By Karen E Thuermer .
The editors of fDi have been searching the US for the Cities and States of the Future, contacting communities both large and small. Round one highlights the states and cities that fDi’s judges deemed well poised for the future in the following regions of the nation: the west, mid-west, north-east and south-east. The judging was not easy given the diverse yet encouraging economic conditions that so many states and cities presented.
